How many animals each year are put to sleep due to abuse, neglect, or just the absence of a home? Every year, there are about 4 million pets euthanized in the United States. 4 million animals that only wanted a loving family, or a warm home.

Thousands of helpless dogs and cats are left out in the cold without food or shelter. People breed animals even though there are already so many who need your help. The ones that do survive, often get placed into shelters. Next time you want to bring a pet home, adopt one from a humane society and help save a life.
